Faith FormationROCK SOLID - Children's Ministry (age 2 through grade 6)
Sunday Mornings at 10:30 am (during worship)
![]() "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock." [Matthew 7:24] In order for children to have faith and build a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, they must first experience what faith is like and see it lived out in the adults around them. Rock Solid will help you provide the foundation where this can happen.
Research tells us that in order for children to "know," they must experience and find a nurturing environment to practice and process. Rock Solid sessions are built around Bible stories. The children will form a lasting relationship with the Bible as they hear the stories and relate to them on a personal level. As children build their faith, you will give them the tools to unlock the Bible message and send them on a faith-building journey that will last a lifetime. Rock Solid’s components are tailored specifically for each age level and provide a variety of resources designed to maximize every child’s faith experience. Explore the Building Blocks that equip leaders to build young hearts of faith. Find out more at www.iamrocksolid.com BEYOND BELIEF - Junior High Youth (grades 7-9)
Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 pm
Beyond Belief is the program for junior high youth and it corresponds with the confirmation program. It is designed to help youth understand who they are as a Christian individual as well as being part of the Body of Christ. The main goals for this series are broken into three parts: (1) to be able to describe your Christian belief and then demonstrate that belief in a tangible way; (2) to explore and examine those questions that still linger about what it means to be a Christian; and (3) to understand what confirmation is all about and what the commitment means.CROSS TRAINING - Senior High Youth (grades 10-12)
Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 pm
Cross Trainers are high school youth that gather to study and talk about cutting edge issues through a the curriculum called LinC [Living in Christ]. Cross Trainers are challenged to think about their faith and beliefs from relevant information about current issues that have immediate impact on their lives. LinC is published weekly, and it examines the latest music, movies, news, and current events through a biblical lens. Through this unique experience, Cross Trainers are always engaged with a topic that they understand and is relevant to their world. Then, they go deeper into Bible study, equipping them to evaluate their culture with a biblical perspective.ADULT OPPORTUNITIES
