We're working hard to adjust our church to the realities of social distancing that we face for the coming months.  We want everyone to be cared for and to carry on the best we can in 'being church' in these challenging circumstances.

Starting Sunday, March 22nd

10:30 am on Facebook

The church building may be closed through March, but join Chad and Stina for Church on the Porch! New videos will be posted on Sunday mornings on facebook. Since our church page is public, you do NOT need to have a facebook account.  Simply click the button below to join us.

Wednesday Youth Classes, March 25th

Sunday School Classes, March 29th

In our to keep our children and youth connected we're enlisting the help of Zoom, an online meeting platform that allows us to get together to tell stories and play games.  We are hoping to provide a time for the kids to be kids and have a place for prayer and sharing in a stressful time.

These meetings are private to families of students who are currently enrolled.  Parents will be sent an e-mail with a link to click to join the group meeting at the appropriate time.

Sunday School, March 29th, Time TBD

Wednesday Night, March 25th, 7:00-8:00pm

Sunday Mornings

Weekly children's bulletins are now available each week as a printable PDFs!  On March 22nd, during live stream worship Pastor Stina will share a brief message on the story of a boy who shared his lunch. (John 6:1-11). The children's bulletins accompany the lesson and are included in the sermon series page.  Click below to visit the page where these can be downloaded.

Pastor Stina will be using an app known as Remind (used frequently by schools) which will allow her to send text notifications to our church family.  At this time, participants will only be able to message Pastor Stina and their information will not be visible to other participants.  Pastor Stina has set up our church as a school in the Remind system, listed as "Delano United Methodist Church" and the class name for this text notification will be: "Delano UMC Family".  To register for text notifications, please fill out the google form below.  You may unsubscribe at any time.

As we continue to stay connected as the church, we are offering new home touch mailings to those who would prefer to get updates and letters in the mail.  Home touch mailings will have regular letters from our pastors and share church announcements as well as devotional materials.  If you or a loved one would like to receive this mailing, please contact the office.

We know times are uncertain and if you or your family have lost jobs or have been negatively impacted by the crisis, we want you to save your money and get your house in order.

If you are in a position to help keep the church sustained, please consider donating through our online Giving platform.  It is a secure giving platform that requires a password but gives you complete control of your giving amounts or timing.  The link below will connect you directly to that platform.

The United Methodist Church has always followed the rule: Make All You Can, Save All You Can, Give All You Can.
