The Sermon on the Mount is arguably the most iconic and direct representation of the teachings of Jesus.  This week's sermon focuses on the Beatitudes, the famous opening lines of the Sermon on the Mount.

Another significant aspect of Jesus' ministry are the numerous healing and miracle stories that he performed.  What do these stories tell us about the suffering and compassion that we encounter in our own lives? 

Jesus often taught lessons through parables - but why?  Why not speak plainly?  Why tell stories that are difficult to understand and could cause confusion or are difficult to interpret?  It turns out, spiritual things are hard to describe!

The triumphal entry of Jesus was the beginning of the end of his earthly ministry.  He was celebrated as the returning king and yet rode on the back of a small donkey.  Jesus continually undermined our expectations of him.  

Easter is the celebration of new life!  We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and how that resurrection can renew our own lives today.  Join us for a celebration of life in Christ!
