Celebrate the wonder of Christmas with your kids with our November and December Sunday School at home kits. We have prepared four home devotional weeks of materials (with corresponding activity pages and crafts), a special advent devotional book to use in December, a Christmas story book, a Christmas Spark Family magazine, and advent wreath craft. Activities are geared for preschool through elementary age students and will be available as soon as October 31st for pick up at church. Delano UMC - Church at Home Episodes Premiere Sept 6th
NOW AVAILABLE at AND Facebook
We're closing up the porch for the summer and launching our new online worship series, "Church at Home," featuring worship leadership by our church family and pastors. We will continue to offer multiple ways to view online worship through our website (which will link to a youtube video) or find us on facebook. You can always see the video episodes in our 'Current Sermon Series' tab above.
The church parking lot will be open for a drive through event. Stop by to pick up materials, and say hello to church friends. A station at the entryway will be available to pick up Christmas goodies, individually wrapped communion elements, or stock up on materials from previous events as you wave hello to church friends. Curbside participants are asked to stay in their cars, wear a mask, and be in good health. Later on join us for online worship as we celebrate communion together through video.
Volunteers are needed to help shovel the church sidewalks and entryways at all doors. In order to help spread out the workload, we are asking volunteers to sign up for one week coverage times, beginning on Monday morning and ending on a Sunday evening, where the volunteer is able to come to church and shovel the walkways/entryways as needed. Entrances include the front/main entrance, as well as the doors to the fellowship hall, sanctuary (2 doors), and side entrance near the shed. Walkways include the front entrance walkway and the side walkway from the parking lot to the side door. For additional questions, please contact the church office.
