There’s Always Something Going On!

Come join us for Sunday School throughout the school year! Children Pre-K through 4th grade will be dismissed to go to Sunday School during worship after children's time with the pastor.  Sunday School ends at the end of worship.  Formal registration takes place in late summer or early fall for the upcoming school year but children are welcome anytime they visit.

While Sunday School is at home for the fall check in to get your home kit and register for our monthly faith and family workshops!

Middle School program for grades 4-6 is at church on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:00 pm during the school year. This is an interactive class taught by Pastor Stina!  Sign-up for this class takes place in late summer to early fall.

Confirmation program for grades 7-8 is at church on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00 pm during the school year.  This is an interactive class taught by the Pastor and parent volunteers.  Information for the upcoming school year is announced in late summer early fall.  For more information contact the office.

If your child is interested in singing in our children's choir we would love to have them!  The children meet during the school year on Sunday mornings before worship to practice and then perform during worship variously throughout the year.

If you are interested, contact the office at or call (763) 972-3492.

Children's choir is currently suspended during COVID restrictions.

Every year toward the end of autumn Delano UMC invites all the children to participate in our annual Christmas Program which is then performed in December during Sunday worship.

Details for the Christmas Program are announced in the fall.  Stay tuned to 'News and Events' here on the website or in the 'Chit Chat' for information.

This year we will be filming outdoors in October for our video version of the Children's Christmas Program!

Every year toward the beginning of August Delano UMC hosts a week long Vacation Bible School for students from preschool through 6th grade.  (Though older siblings can be recruited to help!)
