WORSHIP LEADERS: LITURGIST

Worship is the work of the people at Delano UMC. Students and adults are encouraged to read scripture and the offering prayer each Sunday. Readings are provided in advance. Interested in getting in the schedule? Contact the office.

SUNDAY MORNING USHERS AND GREETERS

Provide a warm welcome to all who gather for worship on Sunday mornings as a greeter or usher. Greeters welcome all who gather and help with new guests. Ushers arrive 15 minutes prior to worship in order to greet, hand out bulletins, and help get the worship space ready. Ushers also help collect the offering and serve communion on Communion Sundays.

FELLOWSHIP TIME VOLUNTEERS

A vital part of every Sunday morning is fellowship time after worship, as people gather to share life together and enjoy delightful treats. This ministry is perfect for those who like to work in the kitchen or bake treats. Volunteers help serve fellowship time after worship and provide clean up for the kitchen.
